the site was constructed in the late 60s and had a microwave route going south to Gibsonburg. sometime between 1982 and 1986 the site was sold to a cellular telephone company which removed all of the long lines equipment and installed cell antennas on the tower. the long lines tower at the site no longer looks like a long lines tower.
