I moved out of NC in August of 2024, and took one last trip to "Tower Mountain" as it was called a few weeks before moving and the horn were present at least as of August 2024.

Tower is still standing. Cannot confirm horn status with imagery.

Confirmed with pictures (parked in a church parking lot to take it safely).
Also left horn has "ILL" written on it.

May be worth adding the site has been heavily vandalized as the tower was never repurposed, and is now privately owned.
