According to the dates on the pictures I took (which I am uploading here), the date of my visiting this site was Sept 25 of 2020. At that time, the shelter had been heavily spray painted and otherwise vandalized, but the tower looked to be in excellent condition. No traces of any electronic equipment, wire, waveguides or microwave horns was evident. I do not know when this site was decommissioned, or who currently owns the property. This is the site that got me interested in the history of the AT&T Long Lines System. This site is very remote.

Site is standing but the surrounding areas are very overgrown and all of the building's guts have been taken out and vandalized. Tower structure in good condition though.
As the other noter pointed out, the site is quite remote. The roads to get to the tower from the freeway are all unpaved gravel and very dusty, but not difficult to drive on and I'd imagine that a car without 4WD/AWD could handle them easily.
Super fun spot to go check out if you have the time.
