This tower connected Riverton, Utah, and Levan, Utah. Situated high above Utah Lake on top of West Mountain, This tower occasionally sees major range fires. In fact, a few years ago, a group from Brigham Young University's observatory, nearby, had to take refuge at this tower location from one such range fire. A Long Lines tower crew happened to be there at the time. I suspect the Long Lines crew probably just sneered at the fire. What's a range fire to a group who built buildings to withstand WWIII?
