SITE HISTORY (MARK FOSTER'S SITE) Collapse/Expand
Note entrance to underground in center of photo. Just to left is air intake grate and to the left of that is bomb detector. The Finland site was the Emergency Relocation Site for the Philadelphia Bell System headquarters. Microwave equipment building (2 PSI) with tower with TD-2 horns. It was in this building that Bell System executives would meet during an emergency. As of 2000 the old chrome and vinyl chairs and the old four pin telephone jacks and KSU box still exist in the basement of this building.
