AUTOVON No. 1 ESS

Jasper had no L carrier cables. Building housed No. 1 ESS installed
in the early 60's, which was probably ripped out in the last 10 years. The nearest L carrier
facility was Birmingham with a circa 1950 L3 cable originally installed for television.
