Ground Flr: (SB) Main distributing frame for Franklin
2nd Flr: ???? General office space
3rd Flr:(SB) Traffic operators and switchboards (Including Miami Overseas, High Seas and Marine operators in Toll Unit #3)
4th Flr: (ATT) Carrier Terminals - L1 and L3, LMX from 7th flr microwave and numerous ON short-haul terminals to SB cities north and south of Miami.
5th Flr. (ATT) Telegraph and low-speed data carrier terminals and testboard (called DOTC board).
6th Flr (ATT) Private Line Testboard - a huge one of 35,000 circuits running both ATT and SB "special services" of almost every type.
7th Flr (ATT) "Radio" - a bit of SB mobile telephone radio terminals; mostly TD-2 microwave, but also a 1,200 channel Collins microwave to Ft. Lauderdale operated for SB by ATT.

North side building is now a retail store with no connection to any telephone company

Miami Central Office (36 NE 2nd Street). Originally southern termination of the L-4 Washington to
Miami L-4 route. After divestiture BellSouth charged such a high rent for the L-4
equipment that the Main Station was relocated to Ojus, FL.
