This was the end of the line running from Cedar Rapids to Vinton up to Waterloo. From that tower it went underground to downtown Waterloo. There is a data center at the base of the tower but I removed the wave guides to make it a lot easier to get cable tray run. The transmitter is still in the rack powered down. The tower is owned by someone different than the owner of the old equipment room at the base. - Anonymous
